RankoHubBot
If you found this page from your server logs: RankoHubBot is the crawler behind RankoHub's Website Audit. It fetches a site's pages the way a search engine would, to report technical SEO issues — broken links and images, missing titles, indexability problems and similar.
Why it visited your site
RankoHubBot does not roam the web discovering sites. It only crawls a website when that site's owner — or the SEO agency working for them — has explicitly requested an audit of it inside RankoHub. If you saw it in your logs, someone responsible for the site asked for that audit.
How it identifies itself
Every request carries this User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; RankoHubBot/1.0; +https://rankohub.com/bot)
Requests originate primarily from our EU server at 135.181.56.95.
How it behaves
It honors robots.txt, uses your sitemap.xml when available, crawls at a moderate rate, and confirms every reported broken link with a second request before it ever appears in a report — so a working link is never reported as broken.
How to block or limit it
To block it entirely, add these two lines to your robots.txt: “User-agent: RankoHubBot” followed by “Disallow: /”. To keep it out of specific sections only, use a narrower Disallow path. Changes take effect on the next crawl.
Who operates it
RankoHubBot is operated by RankoHub (rankohub.com), an SEO analytics platform hosted in the EU. For anything about the bot — including asking us not to crawl you — write to [email protected] and we will sort it out.
